Greece and the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) dominated by taking first place (Gold) in three categories at a premier US tourism industry awards, greekcitytimes.com reports.
At the 8th Travvy Awards 2022, Greece was first in the categories:
Best Destination in Europe
Best Destination Mediterranean
Best Cruise Destination – Europe
Additionally, GNTO was declared the second-best (Silver) Tourism Board in Europe.
The awards ceremony this year was held on November 3 at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina of Florida, while the Greek awards were received by the head of the GNTO office in the USA and Canada Constantinos Harokopos.
The Travvy Awards are organized by the website TravelPulse.com and the magazine AGENTatHOME of Northstar Travel Group, with the winners presented on their website and their magazine, respectively.
