I was a teenager [when I first experienced it] and life seemed so simple and beautiful on this whitewashed island that I said to myself: I will never leave. I kept my promise. I have been wandering the pure white streets, welcomed by the same smiling faces every summer, ever since. No matter where I go, its alleys and valleys, chapels and bays, remain deeply engraved in my mind and soul. Reflections of white houses, golden light, skies forever blue, the wide embrace of a blue-green sea warm me in the winters and lure me back in the summers. In an unexpected way, Mykonos also awakened my passion for photography. Every captured moment in Mykonos is a portrait of eternity.’
